‘Godzilla Vs Kong’: Sneak Peek Of Adam Wingard’s Kaiju Epic Is Here And Fans Are Excited

The Monsterverse’s cinematic journey has been weird. Gareth Evans’ Godzilla had a lukewarm reception for not having enough Godzilla in it and garnered some love over the years. Kong: Skull Island was similar. As in it had its moments because of the VFX and scale, but overall it just felt okay. Godzilla: King of the Monsters walked a similar path and was impressive enough because of its visuals. And despite all that, it manages to keep stomping its way to another movie i.e. Godzilla vs. Kong.

Director Adam Wingard has been teasing the epic Kaiju brawl for quite some time now. He has been posting old pictures of Godzilla and Kong. During the first week of June Wingard talked about the movie’s PG-13 rating. And a week ago he addressed Kaiju fans about the movie’s delay because of the Coronavirus and how he wants everyone to watch it on the biggest screen possible. However, the latest update on the film isn’t coming from him but from a Playmates Toys figure packaging.

Feast your eyes, folks!

And here’s how fans have reacted:

After learning about Godzilla vs Kong, fans were worried about Kong’s size because he wasn’t as big as Godzilla. But that question has been answered. The ape-king has grown over the years and has a pretty solid chance against Godzilla. And as for the story, at this point, it is kind of stupid to expect Oscar-tier storytelling in Godzilla vs. Kong. I just want it to be epic, loud, visually engaging, and have heaps and heaps of carnage. I know the movie has Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Shun Oguri, and Eiza Gonzalez. But, yeah, I don’t really care about the human characters anymore.
