Henry Cavill Builds His Own Goddamn Gaming Computer While Flexing Muscles, No Less

Our favourite superman, Henry Cavill is so much more than the ‘Man of Steel’ many identify him as. Of course, he was recently, newly minted as the Geralt of Rivia in Netflix’s adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s ‘The Witcher’ but I’m talking about things beyond the realm of acting. If you’ve missed it somehow, when not playing parts on the screen, Cavill likes to sit in front of it and play Total War: Warhammer II. And other games like that! Yes, he would rather sit home in his shorts and tees, playing them games rather than going out and the works.

I’m not making this up; earlier, he had told GQ, “At home, I get to sit playing games for ridiculous amounts of hours and escape there, because going outside has the opposite effect.” And while we knew he meant it and that he is a self-professed gamer, the actor par excellence has taken his level of dedication to whole another level. The man just assembled a whole gaming computer in a tank top, on an Instagram video while flexing his muscles no less! He was even cheeky about his caption and wrote, “This kind of material isn’t for everyone….viewer discretion is advised. You may see a lot of parts that you haven’t seen before.” I mean…

Needless to say, fans are fanning themselves and are thirsting over the video on social media. He is also be termed as the ‘sexiest nerd on earth’ and who are we to debate that! Check out all the reactions here.

While that is that, we do hope to see him in the Superman suit soon as much as wants to as well. In a conversation with Sir Patrick Stewart for the Actors on Actors series by Variety recently, Cavill had revealed that he wants to be Superman for years to come. He had said, “I’ve always been a fan of Superman. With a character like that, you carry the mantle with you off set. And it becomes part of your public representation. When you meet children, children don’t necessarily see me as Henry Cavill, but they might see Superman, and there’s a responsibility which comes with that. Because it’s such a wonderful character, it’s actually a responsibility I’m happy to have, and I hope that I get to play more of Superman in years to come.” So, fingers crossed!
