Infinix Smart 4 Plus Offers A 6,000mAh Battery & 3GB RAM At Rs 7,999
Infinix has been making some value for money smartphones in the budget segment and now they’re back with yet another phone, the Infinix Smart 4 Plus, that the company claims was made in response to the COVID-19 situation. A highlighting feature of the phone is its massive 6,000mAh battery that is quite rare for a phone in this price segment.
The phone also employs a massive 6.82-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel that Infinix claims is made to improve media and video-conferencing experiences. The phone has a dewdrop notch that houses an 8MP selfie camera and an LED flash.
The back of the phone houses a rectangular camera module that houses a 13MP primary camera and a depth sensor. The module also houses a triple LED flash. The back of the phone boasts of a glossy plastic back with what Infinix calls a gem-cut texture design. The phone will be available in colours of Ocean Wave, Violet, and Midnight Black.
The Smart 4 Plus is powered by the Helio A25 and is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. It’s good to see Infinix including 3GB of RAM for a phone that costs INR 7,999. Although, as we know by now, numbers don’t necessarily translate into a better experience. So the performance is something we’ll have to reserve our comments on.
The most impressive aspect of the phone is its 6,000mAh battery which should easily last a day for even those who use their smartphones heavily. Unfortunately, a big battery also means that the phone is extremely slow to charge with the bundled 10W charger. According to Infinix, the phone will take a painstaking 4 hours to completely juice up the phone. Also, the phone still sticks with a microUSB port.
The phone runs on Android 10-based XOS 6.2 out of the box. Other key features include support for DTS Surround Sound, dual 4G VoLTE, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is available in a single 3GB+32GB variant and will go on sale from July 28 via Flipkart.
