The trailer of Vidya Balan’s much-anticipated film, ‘Shakuntala Devi’ is finally out and it’s all heart! The critically-acclaimed actress looks just the part and is convincing as the mathematician. The film presumably delves more into everything that made Shakuntala Devi the legend she is. Her quirks, her whims her calling and her sarees included. Director Anu Menon, who has even written the film along with Nayanika Mahtani, has opened up about the same and said, “Most of us will be familiar with her natural ability for math, the film also explores the lesser-known personal story of Shakuntala Devi – a brilliant but vulnerable woman and mother who lived life ahead of her times and on her own terms. I am certain the global audiences will enjoy the film as much as we enjoyed creating it for them.” Meanwhile, Vidya Balan who has shouldered the responsibility of bringing her character alive on-screen has gone on record and said that it was both intimidating and exhilarating. Her story is inspirational and makes you see how if we believe in ourselves, the world is our oyster,” said actress. And honestly, it shows.
