Sony WF-1000XM3 Noise Cancelling TWS Earbuds To Finally Launch In India On 6th August
If you are looking to invest in a pair of premium true wireless earphones then we say you should hold off for a few days. Sony is finally planning to bring its flagship true wireless earphones, the WF-1000XM3 to India on what 6th August.
A “notify me” page is currently live on the Amazon India website which talks about the features and specifications of the Sony WF-1000XM3 true wireless earphones and also states that these TWS earbuds will be launching at 12am on 6th August. In the US, the WF-1000XM3’s are currently priced at $179.99, which is approximately INR 13,500, but given Sony’s typical pricing stategy, we do expect the price here to push up around the 20k margin.
Sony WF-1000XM3 Wireless Noise-Canceling Headphones: Features and Key Specifications
The WF-1000XM3 are Sony’s flagship truly wireless earphones and bring with them Sony’s HD Noise Cancelling Processor – which in typical, crytic Sony style, is called the QN1e chip. These earphones have an overall claimed battery life of 32-hours without noise cancellation and 24 hours with noise cancellation turned on.
The earphones themselves have 6 hours of battery life with three more charges stored in the case. The earphones also support quick charge, giving users 90 minutes of playback with 10 min charge.
The earbuds also support several modes like Quick Attention Mode and Ambient Sound Mode. The sensors baked inside are able to detect when the earbuds are worn for instant connection and the music is also automatically paused when the buds are taken off. There’s also support for several voice assistants like Amazon Alexa, Siri, and the Google Assistant.
The Sony WF-1000XM3 feature 6mm dynamic drivers, and a frequency response range of 20-20,000Hz. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.0, offer Bluetooth codec support for the SBC and AAC codecs, and have a USB Type-C port for charging through the case.
