TikToker Who Made Viral VFX Video Lands Deal With Talent Agency, Congrats Internet!

In India TikTok has become a controversial topic because apparently the Indian Government saw it as an app that the Chinese are using to spy on India. Add to that the curious case of Chinese invasion on Indian soil, which may or may not have happened (Given who you’re getting your news from) and led to the death of Indian soldiers, the app became a punching bag for the Government and its stooges. Meanwhile, in America a young kid has landed a deal with a talent agency due to his video on TikTok.

On July 2, Julian Bass put up a video where he smoothly transitioned between a Jedi, Ben 10, and Spider-Man. Check it out for yourself:

This caught the eye of many acclaimed actors, directors, and producers. I am sure you’ll see a few familiar names down there.

Now, according to Deadline, Bass has been signed for representation in a competitive situation by ICM Partners. For the uninitiated, ICM Partners is one of world’s leading talent agencies which is dedicated to repping artists, content creators, broadcasters, authors, journalists, and artisans. They work with Ruth Negga, Matthew A. Cherry, Malcolm Jenkins, Spike Lee, Bog Saget, Nathalie Emmanuel, Alan Cumming, Kathy Bates, Regina King, and more. So, yes, this is a big deal for 20-year-old Georgia State University student!

In addition to all that, this is a great moment for the people on the internet as well because for once their likes and retweets have helped a talented individual like Bass to get the right kind of footage on a global platform. It will be interesting to see what kind of VFX work he can do with a movie or TV show level budget. But since many have pointed out that he can be cast as Miles Morales in the MCU, that is something I would love to see as well!
